Career Opportunities

MothersCare hires warm, nurturing, and reliable people and trains and certifies them in
the needs of the postpartum family. This comprehensive training includes the physical
and emotional needs of new mothers, what is normal and abnormal behavior in
newborns, care of newborn babies, breastfeeding support and sibling care. Our services
are non-medical, but our doulas are trained to help families know if they should reach
out to ask the doctor when questions arise.

A doula “mothers the mother” so if you have the desire and instincts to support other
moms, you may make the ideal doula.

Call or email us and we will discuss your options.

If you are a Certified Labor Doula looking for families to support during labor, we would
love to speak to you!

If you’d like to see if MothersCare would be a good fit for you, as a certified labor or
postpartum doula, please call us at 203-375-5719 or email us at
