She is passionate about providing person-centered care and education for her clients, advocating for informed choice and empowerment. Casey’s natural patience, ability to understand and actualize client needs, love for babies, and all things natural sets her apart as a doula. Outside of doula work, Casey owns The CaseyPoP Shop, making delicious Caseypops and other treats.

Jessica is a Postpartum Doula and Breastfeeding Specialist with over 15 years of experience. She currently specializes in overnight care. Jessica is open-minded, kind, and compassionate. Caring for families and ensuring a calm and loving postpartum environment is always her main goal. Jessica has 3 teenage children and loves gardening and hiking. She runs a Girl Scout Camp for young girls every summer.

Kimberly is a postpartum doula specializing in overnight newborn care. She has been with MothersCare for 5 years but has a lifetime of experience. Kimberly loves the bond and lasting friendships she makes with her clients. She is always willing to share her tips on sleep training and baby care. Kimberly has 2 children, 4 stepchildren, 3 grandchildren, 14 nieces and nephews, and 9 great nieces and nephews, including a set of twins! In her spare time, she loves bowling and mud runs.

Jennifer is a Certified Postpartum Doula, Licensed Nurse, and Reiki Practitioner. She has worked with families over the past 15 years specializing in newborn care and breastfeeding support. Jennifer creates a safe space for families to encourage healing and fluidity with new transitions in the postpartum period. Outside of work, Jennifer has 3 children and loves working as a library assistant to share her love of reading with her children.

Jennifer has been a doula for the past 26 years. She started as a birth doula and currently works as an overnight postpartum doula. Jennifer has been the CT DONA representative and previously taught expectant parent classes. Jennifer has two grown children and is an avid reader. She is also a genealogy researcher using DNA to identify birth families for adoptees.

Shamica is a birth and postpartum doula and breastfeeding counselor. She is on a mission to equip birthing bodies with proper support and knowledge throughout the birthing and postpartum periods. As a full-time working mother of three, Shamica earned her certifications from the International Doula Institute. Shamica is a proud mother who graduated high school with high honors while raising her son, who inspired her life’s calling as a doula.

Gina is a daytime postpartum doula and newborn care specialist with 14 years of experience. She loves infants and helping parents transition into their new roles. Gina’s main goals are to help teach parents about all things baby and ensure Mom is well nourished by preparing nutritious meals and snacks. Gina is a proud Mother of two grown daughters and one son. She loves to be outdoors, cycling, and crocheting.

Lynn has been a certified labor/birth doula, perinatal support doula, and childbirth educator since 1998. She empowers birthing persons and their partners through informed choices and continuity of care. She brings personal and professional experience and a strong commitment to mother-centered childbirth. Lynn is a mother of two young daughters and a 2 year old golden retriever! In her free time she enjoys gardening.

Leslie is a daytime and overnight postpartum doula with 16 years of experience. She loves being able to be a support person for new families. Leslie enjoys cooking and trying new and nutritious recipes for postpartum Moms. It is important to Leslie that she creates a friendly and relaxing environment when supporting postpartum families. In her free time, Leslie enjoys listening to music, roller skating, and painting.

Olivia is a postpartum doula with 4 years of experience, providing emotional support and guidance on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. She helps support newborn development, and well-being and creates a nurturing and safe environment. Olivia believes in empowering families to make informed decisions that align with their values. Olivia spends her days off with her 2 daughters. They love to have dance parties and serenade in the car together!

Victoria is an overnight postpartum doula who has been with MothersCare for the past 8 years. She loves having the opportunity to help families adjust as they add a new little one to the family. Victoria ensures that parents get the most rest they can so they can be at thier best the next day. She is also a certified CPR teacher and helps parents or family members learn infant CPR. Victoria loves to spend time with her two children outside doing science experiments or art projects. She also loves playing with her 7 dogs!

Amy is a daytime postpartum doula. Originally from Utah, Amy came to CT in 1996 and has been working with children and infants since! Amy loves helping Moms organize and make their spaces functional. Amy states, “I am a true believer that your surroundings can positively or negatively impact your state of mind.” Amy has two daughters, 10 and 14 years old. In her spare time Amy loves cooking and baking and enjoys watching her girls dance competitively.

Robin is a postpartum doula who has been with MothersCare for over 6 years. She loves caring for families and their newborns, especially when asked to return for baby #2 or #3! Robin nursed her own children and can assist breastfeeding Moms. She also has a lot of experience with formula-fed babies and will support a new mom with whatever she chooses. Robin spent most of her life volunteering with children in Scouts, religious education, summer camps, and schools. Robin has grown children, one of whom was a planned home birth. She also has a peck of grandchildren from 23 to 3 years old! Being a doula is a natural fit for her.

Veronica has dedicated over 8 years to supporting families as a Patient Care Assistant in the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She has also spent 3 years in maternity care, helping new moms. Working with MothersCare, Veronica finds immense joy in supporting mothers one-on-one and witnessing the beauty of motherhood. Outside of doula work, you can find Veronica creating cooking content and silly YouTube videos with all five of her children!

Brenna is a postpartum doula specializing in overnight newborn care. She has been with MothersCare since 2023. She has 10+ years of newborn experience. Brenna has found her passion in helping new parents get the rest they deserve. Additionally, Brenna is a qualified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). While she is no longer a practicing EMT, she keeps her certifications up to date for the skills and tools it provides.

Denise is a certified postpartum doula and has worked for MothersCare since 2018. After a job layoff, Denise found that her love of childcare went far beyond an occasional babysitting job. She refers to one of her favorite quotes, “It’s everything I never knew I always wanted.” -Matthew Perry Her goal is to make life as easy as possible for families welcoming a new baby. Denise has two children, now 19 and 16 years old. She enjoys quality time with her family the most.

Dana is a compassionate and experienced postpartum doula specializing in overnight care. With over 8 years experience as a nurse, she brings both professional expertise and a nurturing touch to every family she supports. Dana takes great joy in helping parents adjust with confidence to life with a new baby. She's known for her caring nature, calm presence and personalized guidance especially when it comes to sleep training, infant care and supporting families with one infant or twins. Dana cherishes the meaningful connections she forms with each family, often building lasting friendships. A proud mother of two, she enjoys jogging, swimming and playing volleyball in her free time.

Charlene is a certified postpartum and infant care doula. She is dedicated to supporting postpartum families overnight to give them as much rest as possible while they adjust to life with a new baby. She has worked with many families as a doula and, in her earlier years, worked in a daycare setting and as a nanny. Charlene has two sons of her own and brings the value of her mothering experiences to her job as a doula. She realized when her kids were getting older that she loves helping with newborns and guiding a new mother in the early weeks of postpartum. She is experienced with breastfeeding, bottle-feeding and providing emotional support, if needed, to her families. In her spare time she loves spending with time with her family, traveling and just being together.

Monica is the mom of two grown children. She grew up in a large extended family and learned to love caring for babies from an early age. She received her bachelor’s degree in human services and a minor in Family therapy. She has been a Parent Educator helping families solve challenges with children from newborn to two years old. Her goal as a postpartum doula is to nurture the mom and lovingly care for her newborn throughout the night. Monica is a natural caregiver. She is also bi-lingual in Spanish and English.

Wendy Christie has been with MothersCare since 1993. She is a "seasoned doula" - trained and experienced in breastfeeding, the postpartum mother's needs and providing general reassurance to the new family. As a successful mother and grandmother herself, Wendy's professional and life experiences have brought comfort and guidance to many CT families for over 30 years. As an overnight doula, she will care for your newborn throughout the night - feeding, changing and settling. She can help the breastfeeding mom get more sleep by answering nursing questions, if needed, and bringing the baby to Mom, changing and settling the baby after nursing throughout the night so Mom can get some needed sleep.
