Not only did they set up a wonderful doula for us to help us with care during the day, when we realized at week 3 that we desperately needed night time help, they were able to find someone to help us within a day. They also found backup support for us when our main doulas were unable to come a few times. They were flexible when I ended up delivering early and then needed to extend my hospital stay, and very communicative. Christine S. Wachter2024-04-03After two very bad sleepers and with my third on the way, I knew I needed some help at home to make sure I was a healthy, present parent. A friend recommended MothersCare and I am so glad she did. Gina quickly earned my confidence and made me feel comfortable having her take my littlest one so that I could nap. While the baby was sleeping, Gina always looked for something to do to help, or would ask us what she could do, which meant that the kitchen stayed clean, laundry was done, and I ate and drank enough. I really can't describe how helpful she has been for my stress level - I don't do well in a messy house or on little sleep! I also learned so much from Gina about how to care for my baby. I truly wish we had reached out to MothersCare with our first baby. It would have made me a better, more confident parent. Nearly 6 months later we are still using MothersCare! Gina continues to be a warm and calming presence in our home. I can leave the baby in her care while I give my older two 1-1 attention.
